Butter wrapping aluminium foils can meet the packaging requirements of protecting beads, texture, appearance, moisture and color. Airtight packaging is very important, not only to protect its fragrance from loss, but also to resist the pollution of external odors, because butter can easily absorb foreign odors.
Butter is usually wrapped in parchment, aluminum foil/sulfuric acid paper or a composite of aluminum foil and greaseproof paper. Parchment is brittle and should contain more than 9% moisture and be stored in a clean place with no dust and humidity of 50% to 80%. If it is too dry, the parchment will become brittle and will break easily when packaged. On the other hand, if it is too moist, it is easy to grow mold and pollute the butter. Although parchment is resistant to oil, it can still pass through oxygen, and its translucent transparency will easily promote the oxidation of butter. The long-term preservation of the protective packaging is still the safest with aluminum butter wrapping foil composites. However, materials in which aluminum foil and plastic film are composited are not ideal because most plastic films have gas permeability, resulting in loss of buttery aroma and poor oil resistance. It is preferable to use an aluminum foil paper composite material, which not only enhances the thickness of the aluminum foil, but also improves the process performance of the packaging machine.
To Butter wrapping aluminium foils, following two protective functions are required:
1, Protected the butter from polluted during transportation, storage and use, mainly to prevent microbial contamination, and must have oxygen barrier, moisture, oil resistance and maintain the fragrance of the butter.
2, Packaging foil should be attractive for sale and convenient for consumers.
